Water e-bill at their doorstep for Mohali residents introduced: BluPrints part of yet another e-governance project

In a transformational step towards digitalization & e-governance, Mohali introduces e-bills for its water consumers. BluPrints is proud to be a partner of this initiative.

As a part of a pilot run of this initiative, the Department of Housing and Urban Development will extend this facility to residents of all urban estates across the state from May 2018.

The two-fold benefit of this initiative one at the customer end (in terms of ease of making payment) and second on the authority end (instant bill generation, updation of records, transparency in the process. This system is supposed to not only financially benefited the authority to increase their collections but also ensure timely payments & reduced miscommunication regarding late payments)

Senior Official leading this initiative stated that it would be of great help to the residents as they would be no more required to make rounds to government offices to deposit water bills.

Sharing the details of the process, he mentioned employees of the authorities concerned on visiting the house would calculate the amount and deliver the electronically generated bill to the consumer by giving the print out with the help of a handy thermal printer (provided by BluPrints), which they would be carrying.

SMS regarding the delivery of the bill along with a unique link by visiting will be instantly sent across to the customer through which they can make the payment through the online gateway system.

BluPrints congratulates the authority for their progressive consumer-centric approach towards governances

BluPrints Bluetooth Handheld Receipt Printer Range Gets “Smart” with RFID Reader

BluPrints RF – A new add-on to the existing Bluetooth Thermal Receipt Printer range; This new smart chip can read contactless Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags and send the tag information wirelessly over Bluetooth to a nearby Android Device.  Ideally suited to applications such as Parking on Metro Stations, BluPrints RF acts as a multi-purpose device to enable cashless transactions using the Metro Rail Card to debit the parking fee each time a commuter parks his/her vehicle at the Metro Station Parking to board a Metro Rail. In addition to reading the tag, the printer prints the parking slip wirelessly via Bluetooth through a smart Android Based Application from the mobile phone of the Metro Parking Attendant.

BluPrints 3-inch Thermal Receipt Printer Range (AEM3BT) gets RFID Enabled

BluPrints Aadharshila’s Three Inch Thermal Receipt Printer Range Gets RF-enabled owing to the new RFID Card Reader Module released by its Engineering department in January 2016. The Two additional variants of BluPrints AEM3BT range include 1. POS DESKTOP RF 3”: A USB Enabled Desktop Thermal Printer of Three Inches Width (87 mm Printer) capable of Contactless Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) card reading. 2. POS PORTABLE RF 3”: A USB and Bluetooth Enabled Wireless Portable Handheld Thermal Printer of Three Inches Width (87mm Printer) capable of Contactless Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) card reading.

Aadharshila Launches BluPrints “AEM2BT-48”

Aadharshila has added a new 2 Inch Printer Model with 48 Characters per line. Ideally suited for cost effective applications that require more fields printed in a single row- such as grocery bills, AadharCard no. etc, Portable Printer BluPrints “AEM2BT-48” lends immense value for space, by printing in a smaller font. Usually, 48 characters per line are printed on a three inch wide paper. However, with AEM2BT-48, users can now print more text on a two-inch paper roll itself.

BluPrints Hardware Platform Gets Upgraded to CORTEX CORE M-3

The Embedded Design Team at Aadharshila achieved a major milestone by releasing an upgraded design of its BluPrints series from ARM7 Processor Based on NXP2388 Microcontroller, to a state-of-the-art refurbished, highly optimized, futuristic, more reliable and faster Micro Controller architecture of Cortex Core M3. The new design drive was initiated at the end of previous FY, targetted for release at the end of the first quarter, in the company’s continuous efforts to optimize its hardware designs and tackle obsolescence. The ARM Cortex-M3 processor is the industry-leading 32-bit processor for highly deterministic real-time applications, specifically for high-performance low-cost platforms for a broad range of devices including microcontrollers, automotive body systems, industrial control systems and wireless networking and sensors.  The new design of BluPrints series is deterministic with low latency, making it particularly applicable to real-time field applications such as Bluetooth / Handheld Thermal Portable Printers. Cortex M-3 has smaller basic core, reducing chances of failure and increasing speed. Integrated with the core are system peripherals, such as the interrupt controller, bus matrix, and an integrated sleep mode with the option of an integral eight-region Memory Protection Unit. In comparison to the previous hardware base, the upgraded Electronic design offers a much superior alternative, enabling tomorrow’s embedded applications by delivering more features in the same cost range, increasing connectivity, better code reuse, and improved energy efficiency. The upgraded BluPrints hardware platform delivers outstanding computational performance and exceptional system response to events while meeting the challenges of low dynamic and static power constraints. The processor is highly configurable enabling a wide range of implementations from those requiring memory protection and powerful trace technology to cost sensitive devices requiring minimal area.
